Top 10 feel good songs

I love music! What I love more is singing very badly to music! Anyone who knows me knows that I am actually in love with Taylor Swift... I could go on and on about my love for T.Swift but that's a blog post for another day and I promise you it is coming so be prepared.
But! Today's blog post is about feel good songs. As a happiness/positivity blog and 'all that jazz' (see what I did there) it only seems right to do a post about music and how good it is for well being!

Think of all the times you listen to music. I don't know about you but I like listening to music when I'm cleaning - something that would otherwise make me very moody if I wasn't belting it out to Bohemian Rhapsody with the end of the broom. It may take me twice as long to sweep the floor because I believe that I am Freddy Mercury for 5 minutes BUT I can guarantee that I have high spirits at the end of it!

Not all songs make you feel this way though. I can guarantee you'll find me sobbing in a corner somewhere as soon as I hear the introduction to 'All Too Well' (I was trying to avoid TS but I just couldn't help myself ). Don't get me wrong sad songs are great! Music is perfect for expressing our feelings and even though we may cry to certain songs sometimes it could mean that it makes us really happy afterwards. But they don't make us want to dance right?! What I'm trying to get at is that these are my top 10 songs that make me feel really good when I need a pick me up, a little groove to myself and a good old sing-a-long in my pretty dreadful singing voice (just ask my boyfriend).

This song is just pure sunshine, I listen to this song and imagine dancing on a golden beach in the Caribbean somewhere and it makes me feel so good (but also so sad that I am not in the Caribbean...)

Two words (kind of) Year 7. I am now almost 20 and this song instantly takes me back to be 11 years old. It reminds me of being young and carefree and that is exactly how I feel when I listen to it!

And on that note... here is another blast from the past! This song is everything and it makes you think too so there we go it makes you feel good and it makes you feel powerful!

Obviously, you saw this one coming! Not only do I absolutely LOVE this song because it is my babe Taylor Swift but it is my dance song. This song comes on and I don't know what it is, my body just moves. At the end of it I look like a sweaty mess but I feel on top of the world so I just... shake it off (bad pun I know).

Because we all love a Disney Star! Okay well I do.

OH WHAT A FEELING, WE'RE DANCING ON THE CEILING! Think that pretty much speaks for itself? 80's and 90's music is my absolute favourite (after Swift obviously) so naturally this song makes me happy!

7. Beyonce- Ring the Alarm. Just Beyonce in general really.

Okay so there are a number of reasons why this is a feel good song for me. Firstly, it's Beyonce. The Queen B. The master of SASS. We can all be our own sassy little selves when listening to this pretending to be Bey. Secondly, YANIS MARSHALL. For anyone who has watched Britain's Got Talent in the past you may know what I am talking about, if not follow this link and prepare to be amazed and inspired to grab your heels (or for any males reading... to grab your Mum's/Sister's/Auntie's heels).

This song is basically the definition of feel good, it even has the words in the song title! Michael Buble, in general, just has one of those voices that makes you want to swing your hips and click your fingers!

And whilst we're talking about Mr. Christmas, my No.1 feel good Christmas song is this one! It gets me so excited for Christmas which is my favourite time of year!!! And we all love Christmas so why not listen to Christmas songs all year round to make us happy.

I couldn't not put another Taylor Swift song on this list. This. Song. Is. My. Anthem. This was the first song I ever listened to of Taylor's and that is where our love begins. This song makes me feel everything but above all it makes me so so so happy because it is my all time favourite song and it is just amazing. Speechless. I'm done.

So there you have it! My top 10 feel good songs. They aren't in order I am too indecisive to put things in order and besides it would all be (oh, guess who) Taylor Swift at the top of the list just because well you know it's Taylor Swift.
I hope this post has inspired you to make your own 'positive playlist' of feel good songs and maybe some of my favourites would feature! And I hope, as always, you feel super happy after reading this post.
I would love to hear what your favourite feel good songs are so comment below! And if you're in passionate agreement with any of mine then tell me, and we can fangirl together... I love fangirling!

Lots of love
